How old do you have to be to legally drink in Scotland?

In Scotland the drinking age was 18, but 16 when you ordered food and 14 when you looked a little older than you were
its 18 now but they are talking about raising it to 21

18 - in every country in the UK its 18, at least it is to drink in a bar/buy it from a shop etc
if its drinking in a private home or something then the law is more relaxed

12....but if you're left standing outside the pub while your mum and dad get drunk inside, you're allowed to minesweep the drinks in the beer garden as young as 7
