I have peripheral neuropathy, the cause is unknown but I believe it has to do with previous back sergeries, anyways last year after having the flu my symptoms became full blown (weakness,sharp pains,tingling, numbness,yada yada yada) about four months ago the symptoms cleared up I started jogging again and feeling great, my kids came home with the flu last week and I felt asthough I was coming down with it too, but instead I ended up with all the full blown neuropathy symtoms. is this common?

I have sort sort of neuropathy in my hands and feet for reasons I don't know. All blood tests came back normal for common causes.
