Hi there,

I am searching for a reliable dedicated hosting company that will be able to meet the needs of my future music site. On my site, users will be able to upload/ download mp3's as well as upload photos. I am not entirely sure what I am going to need in terms of plans, or how many page views(est: >300,000)/ mp3 downloads I will be getting a month, but know that I want to be on the safe side, and insure that there will not be a server overload, allowing at least several hundred people to access the site at the same time, without it slowing down. Users will be able to preview music as well , and I want to make sure that this function works smoothly without having connection issues due to too much activity at any given time. I am not entirely sure how many users will be uploading music, however, I am estimating that I will have over 50 GB of music on the site. I need a cost-effective solution, but do not want to cut corners with a plan that cannot support the site. Thank you!

Alright, scientists belive in Occum's Razor, which states that for a given situation, the simplest answer tends to be correct.

Now take the beginning of our universe, lets keep it simple, and go with the two most common ideas. The big bang theory, and creationism.

The Big Bang Theory: For whatever reason, space began expanding, time was created, all matter that ever existed and ever will exist was created in one second, we don't know how, but it did.

Creation: A higher being created the universe, and everything in it, using powers unkown to man.

Which of these is simpler? I just thought of this while reading a god v. science question on the second page. Does Occum's Razor 'prove' God?

My soon to be husband and I are thinking of having a baby. I am 19 and he is 21. This is more his idea than mine, but i really feel like we are ready. We have been together for a long time, and will be getting married in 2 months, we have jobs..good income, a house & a really stable relationship.

I am ready to start trying but, i am hesitant about what his family is going to think since we are just going to be getting married...

my question is, should i really care what they think? i mean we're adults & going to soon be husband and wife....what do you think???

I have a school dance tomorow and I'm 14 years old. Its a baby blue dress with a tie in back and a hawaiin circle in the center of the tie. the circle is tan and my shoes are high heeled with gold sparkles on the straps with a slight heel. The dress is also shorter in longer and longer in back but it is like around knee lenth in front. The theme of the dance is dressy and it is a dinner dance. its kind of like a going to high-school celebration. I am also going to wear my hair either curly but probably straight because it takes less time and is less expensive because I have a flat iron. I love this outfit I was just wondering what you guys think =)

Nobody will be surprised if Bush's comments on long term military presence in Iraq (the S.Korea model) will sparkle more anti-US activities.

Maybe German, Italians, S.Koreans and Japanese are used to it, but definitely not Iraqis, or people in some other countries - such as UK, Russia, China.... They will fight to death.

What is with these loony professors lately. This is an AP article from the Aztlan site. Are both parties selling us out.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A University of New Mexico Chicano Studies professor predicts a new, sovereign Hispanic nation within the century, taking in the Southwest and several northern states of Mexico.

Charles Truxillo suggests the “Republica del Norte,” the Republic of the North, is “an inevitability.”

He envisions it encompassing all of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and southern Colorado, plus the northern tier of Mexican states: Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.

Along both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border “there is a growing fusion, a reviving of connections,” Truxillo said. “Southwest Chicanos and Norteño Mexicanos are becoming one people again.”

Truxillo, 47, has said the new country should be brought into being “by any means necessary,” but recently said it was unlikely to be formed by civil war. Instead, its creation will be accomplished by the electoral pressure of the future majority Hispanic population in the region, he said.
