Isn't that kind of tacky, not to mention confusing at times?

I think it's this weird, pseudo-kindredship the media create. I was just thinking that back when I was young (about 20 yrs. ago-I'm 39 now) there wasn't this CRAZY 24/7 surveillance of them. There WAS a lot of stuff in People magazine, but the net hadn't taken off yet.
It's insane now.
I think it's very detrimental, this veritable cult of celebrity the media are creating. They call them by first names, nicknames and since Bennifer? they combine anyone who's sleeping w/someone by some silly moniker.
Ahhhhyy.

I dunno 'bout first names but, these young celebs are driving themselves into a world of disaster. Like Lindsay Lohan in rehab, Paris Hilton, jail time, and Nicole Richie only inviting girls under 100 pounds to her party. It's sickening what's going on.
