Darwin's Theory of Evolution actually says that man and ape evolved from the same ancestor with apes going in one genetic direction and humans going in another genetic direction. Why do people continually say "man evolved from ape"? Even the supposed intellectually superior atheists get this wrong.

To subscribe to any belief wholeheartedly seems a little too rigid and somewhat narrow minded. Can you tell me in one sentence why being agnostic is considered a poor choice as opposed to making a concrete decision either way? Is there a certain harm to being agnostic?
Believer and atheist alike please answer.
And nothing condescending please like "Maybe theres a easter bunny or the FSM" or "well youre going to burn in hell" as I have heard that stuff before.

Why can't we have even one candidate, for president or local or state government who will speak to real issues, and take an unpopular stand on current society? Why doesn't even one candidate take a stand and say "This corruption is wrong, and it will not continue. The military-industrial complex is wrong and I will end it. Whatever happened to truth and honesty when dealing with the people of this republic?". These views are just examples and may not speak to the wrongs that we all see in society. But the sentiment is the same. What happened to straight shooting, strong worded candidates that produce change?
Do candidates who speak to the masses, and speak of peace and truth, and honesty get sidelined or railroaded out of the mainstream by the coporations and people afraid to lose there grip on what they have? Or is America no longer capable of producing people who are uncorruptable?

Hey.
My puppy is only 8-9months old, and im wondering if puppies are allowed to eat Mandirins because a few minutes ago my puppy was sitting in the dining room and there was a Mandarin on the floor and he sniffed,chewed and rolled it, then when i passed he ran in circles around the table AND the mandirin so i wonder if they have any allergies, or things that can cause illnesses from the Mandirin. I have a 94 Grand Cherokee Laredeo, Staight 6, command track, newly rebuilt tranny, 165K. The problem is the jeep has a little slop in the front end pretty much through all driving speeds. The rims and tires are great and balanced. I recently replaced the front flexible brake lines because the abs light is on most of the time and the pads, rotors, and callipers look to be very good. While braking it sounds like the rear brakes need to be replaced too. I did notice that the front shocks seem to have a little play from side to side, so thay should be replaced, but could that be the problem? Everything else except the front drivers side upper ball joint looks to be original. What should I look into first, and what are the most common causes of steering problems in these grand cherokees? Best one will get the 10 points. Thanks for looking.

Ok, so I've got a 501 right now and I'm looking to upgrade. I just found out about this dual tuner 721-no additional fees! I like the sound of it, but I don't understand one thing. If there are two tuners, does that mean you need TWO seperate cables from the satelite to power the tuners? I already have three seperate receivers at my house-is there any easy way to "split" the signal, like a headphone can be split? And if so, could it be done cheaply and without the need to have a professional installation?

I became this teacher's favorite student; she viewed me as a very classy and elegant female. She said that I am a true Southern Belle. She became my favorite teacher. I view her as another mother to me. Well...I graduated on last Tuesday and after graduation I went to her to give her a hug and say goodbye. She told me that she was hoping that she would get to see me before I left. I had told her about my graduation party and personally invited her to it. I gave her every detail about it so she would know where it was going to be held at. She told me that she would probably stop by and congratulate me. The day of my party I was looking for her, but unfortunately, she didn't show up. I'm not upset with her at all. I'm just trying to figure out in my mind the reason why she didn't show up. I'm concernced about her.
