I left uk in April 18th last year to live abroad permantly. However I had to return end of following March ie before the tax year was up to take care of my son due to my ex partner not wanting custody of him anymore. Is there any leeway given by HMRC due to these circumstances or will I still be liable for tax as if I was still a uk resident?

My ex and I have shared custody of our three daughters after a bad divorce. This form of custody can be difficult as both parents have 50/50 custody and share in decision making. There's been many problems since he was granted this much parenting time. To those of you whom have insite how difficult is it to lessen his custody. Here's the situation. We are supposed to be sharing in decisions for our three girls. He won't. He won't respond to my calls 70% of the time...same with emails. When he does he's hateful. He refuses discipline our young teen who is only 13. He recently allowed her to be out with a group of friends after curfew until 12:30 am. Her grades have plummeted! He refuses to work with me on this..and says she needs to "live and learn!" he states why does it matter that she received all the discipline at one house and none at the other as long as it all balances out!! She's headed for trouble thanks to his poor parenting. Can his parenting time be shortened?

Why are there no GOOD fansites for this guy. He's talented, sings beautifully and I, for one, want more, more, more and MORE. More ghosty stuff, more loving, more Vonda Shepard plus HIM music. Why cant I find a website to tell him that? He knows he's brilliant but he needs to get more work done....for us...the world. Please dont let him die before he fulfills his overload of good movies? I miss him so much because he just wraps up chic flicks and paranormal so well....sexy big brother and annoying but steadfast lover in one. An idiot, sensible, intelligent bad boy, who has a lovely voice and is so nice/huggable. Keep him working as long as you can? Ok well this is just a question and probably a stupid one but, her it goes... Does anyone believe that aliens may not live in space that its possible they live underground? I know there is hot lava and stuff but it is probably possible that they could do it and that is why it dosnt take them so long to return us to our beds or to get to us in the first place? I got my GED by age 13. So I skipped high school. I graduated from college by age 17. I am now financially independent and own my own place. It sucks though I have to wait until my 3rd year in college to get my driver's permit. They have that 16 year old rule. Shouldn't I get my driver's license already by the 1st year of college? I don't have a girlfriend. I never had a girlfriend, way too busy for my studies. So, how can I start looking for a girlfriend? in my job?
