of Mormons tells about God appering to the people in North American after the Resurrection. Am I correct in thinking that this is a wacky religion. I mean, Joseph Smith is supposed to have found this book under a rock, and somehow, he was able to translate it into English.

Some people seem to think it's their God-given right to let their kids run around screaming and carry on, and then do the same thing right back to them, and then say to anyone who disapproves, "who gives you the right to judge", etc etc. Other parents can manage, why can't they? Don't you think bad parents should stop making excuses and receiving so much 'support' when what they really need is a kick up the backside?

They seem to hate American traditions like freedom of religion. Freedom of speech is likewise an American tradition, they seem to want to stifle this too. The theocratic Christians seem to feel that Christianity should be the number 1 religion in the US. And that everything else has to be subordinated to it.

Note: I am talking about the Fundamentalists, the one’s who want a theocracy here in the USA. If you are not a Fundie, I am not talking about you.

I'm looking for a poem but I cannot remember either the title or the poet (Whom I remember is a male).
The poem is about a prince who goes into battle, and in the midst of it, a man abandons both his broken sword and the battle. He envies the prince's sword, and exclaims, "But this--blunt thing!--" (This is one of the few lines that I can recall.)

Later, the prince, who is now swordless, wounded, and losing, comes by and sees the broken sword buried, and takes it up and leads his men into victory.
It was a poem I memorized in seventh grade, and I would very much like to read it once more.

I picked up a motion sensor from the store, opened it expecting to see a normal electrical plug on the end and found a bunch of wires instead. The instructions (for easy install! haha) keep talking about removing the existing light. There are no instructions if you didn't have a light there before. So two parts to this question - 1. do they make a kind that has a normal plug on it? and 2. how much should I expect to pay an electrician to install the one I have?

We had our sonogram last week and I'm still a little upset. During the sono, the doctor rushed through it. He didn't go over the body parts, just kinda said everything looks great. He stood up, turned off the machine and said "oh, do you want to know what it is?" We were like yes. As he's walking out the door, he says "it's a boy." My husband said maybe it's because we already have 3 others, but I still would have loved for this songram to be just as special. Our last sonos were at this same place, but a different doctor. We have Aetna insurance, so I felt jipped! My others were such great experiences! Maybe I'm overreacting. What do you think?
