I don't think Whoopi should join the show, she is kinda dry to me. And today she was making faces at the comedian that made me think she was kinda rude.

I do however think that Sherry Shepard should join the cast. I love it when she cohosts.

A homosexual male could be a great determination and maybe in the event that they had 2 or 3 rotating panel contributors it could save peace, order, yet lend itself to the 'great debates' that it has grow to be in call for for (and have been given astonishing scores) because Rosie all started in September '06...Whoppi is advantageous sufficient, yet a splash too uninteresting and non-descript now for that show (some thing like Starr grow to be without the narcisstic way s of Starr) oh, and believe Blurr Rab on the 'looks' element....

I love Whoopi! I think that she seemed "dry" today due to the Ro/Eli events. If Sherry, Rosanne or Kathy were chosen they would only be there for comic relief. Whoopi, even though she has this background, seems to be more knowledgeable and not always looking for a laugh. I think that she's more down to earth. Come on.... do you think that Joy wants that younger competition? No offense to Joy though.

I have thought for a long time that Sherri should be on the View.
I like Whoopie and think she would be a great addition, but I do not think she will want to do it, she would have to be someone she isnt to be there everyday. I just dont think she can not be genuine to herself

Maybe they can have 3 new co-hosts, Whoopie, RoseAnne Barr and Sherry Shepard alternately....

I want Sherri Shepherd - she's hilarious and doesn't seem to get off on fighting (in fact, when she tried to cut to commercial, it proved the opposite). Kathy Griffin = D List = I stop watching. I can't stand her, she's never been funny. Roeanne's very funny, but I think she is too loud for the show. Whoopi doesn't really thrill me or make me want to vomit. She's blah in her old age. I think they do need someone younger like the above poster stated.

I heard that Whoppi was just one of the ideas. They are also considering Roseanne Barr, Kathy Griffith(sp?) and Joan Rivers. They want someone who is funny but can also hold their own when it comes to discussing controversial issues.

I don't think Whoppi would be a good choice. She tends to rant about things that no one else finds interesting nor funny. Roseanne would be good but she can get a bit loud. I doubt if Kathy Griffith ( or whatever her name is) would be a good fit, she's a bit of a nobody that keeps popping up. Joan Rivers is a big no! They need someone else besides Elizabeth who is young to breath some new life into the show. Unfortunately I can't think of anyone who would fit that bill.

I would like to see her take the job. She is a liberal but not a "in your face" liberal. She does not put people automatically on the defensive like Rosie did. That just turns people off. It instantly put up walls and no one listens to what you are saying. That is counterproductive. She has tact and is willing to get into a debate with being obnoxious. I am a conservative and like her approach. I am more willing to listen to her views and actually contemplate them. I would be thrilled if she took the job.

I have to agree with the above poster, Kathy would be a good choice.

I do love Whoopi, but I don't think she would really want the job.

Sherri Shepard would be good.

I thought Whoopi was STALE today, and I hope she's not going to take RO's place.....

I don't think anyone should leave, but I don't care for Joy....although of all of them, I liked her best today......

I want Rosanne Barr to replace RO.....
