NASA research on indoor plants has found that living plants are so efficient at absorbing contaminants in the air that some will be launched into space as part of the biological life support system aboard future orbiting space stations.
NASA research has consistently shown that living, green and flowering plants can remove several toxic chemicals from the air in building interiors. You can use plants in your home or office to improve the quality of the air to make it a more pleasant place to live and work - where people feel better, perform better, any enjoy life more

Indoor plant, such as spanish moss.
Plant remove CO2 from the air during photosynthesis, called carbon assimilation.
The CO2 content in fresh air is about 0.03% (300ppm). CO2 concentration higher than 1000ppm will cause discomfort while at 2000ppm will cause nausea and headache.
To eliminate most indoor air quality complaints, CO2 concentration must be reduced to 600ppm.
Efficiently, about 16 pots of indoor plant or 1 tree can interchange carbon dioxide with human. That can make you feel refreshed. Like HongKong, this place is terrible as the air quality is not hostile for "all animals". Our brain will deteriorate in low oxygen environment.
Therefore, putting plants indoor in big city is very crucial. City residents should exercise tachybreathing (breathe faster) when walking on streets. This isn't easy as too rapid breathing (hyperventilation) will cause respiratory alkalosis which leads to dizziness.
Plant is the most efficient way of carbon sink, however it is fantastic. Just throw a seed into your garden, it will ceaselessly assimilate CO2 from air, providing everyone fresh air. Let's think, ancient volcanoes outgassed CO2 and they are naturally absorbed by ancient plants and been converted into fossil fuels, it's a cycle. However, human reintroduce the carbon into the atmosphere.
Human uses car everyday, introducing new CO2, so throw a seed into the soil is a very ideal way to recapture CO2.

All plants give same quality of air. We take plants by product which is Oxygen and plants take our by product carbon dioxide. All plants go through same process.
