I self-injure quite often. (just an explanation, this isn't a mental health question; I'm asking for medical advice).
So, I just bled a lot and I feel slightly dizzy and very thirsty. Is there any reason to be extremely concerned about this? Should I just drink water and lay down somewhere?
A few weeks ago I was equally violent toward myself, and ended up feeling very dizzy, hysterical, and tired. I ended up more upset than I had been before hurting myself, and I wonder if that was from the blood loss...
Obviously, if someone isn't getting enough oxygen to their brain it could effect their emotions, right?
Well, other than the obvious (discontinuing cutting and/or calling a hospital), what should I do in situations like this? Like, I've lost just enough blood to feel it, and I'm a little shaky on my feet, but I've never passed out before.
Yes, I want to stop doing this. But, there are relapses. I just want to be prepared for them...
