I have a new BMW with hail damage. What is the best course of action to get it repaired?

It has dents in the roof, hood and fenders.

Call the insurance company, file the claim, bring it to the place you want to repair it, get an estimate, wait for the adjuster.

Take it to a body shop. If you have comprehensive insurance, submit a claim to your insurance company. Sometimes the heat of the summer sun will relax the dents to the point where you don't have to do repairs.

Call your insurance company and tell them about it. They will tell you to bring it to a shop or they will send someone out to estimate the damage.
