I am a law student and I wondered if anyone could give me detailed information about occupational or industrial deafness.

I have a general understanding of it, but would like to know more, especially the process of diagnosis and the claims procedure.

What would the auto industry do if people all around the world “Stop buying or leasing NEW gasoline powered cars”? Would they wait to go bankrupt? Would they try selling different cars, like the Chevy Volt or the Ford Edge with HySeries Drive? And how long would it take? 3 months, 6 months, a year?

It seems to me that one of the things lacking in our society is understanding of various faiths. I believe it would be to our kids advantage to explore the appropriate use of a curriculum that celebrates diversity by exploring the major religions from around the world. Christian faiths, Muslim faiths, Jewish faiths, Buddhist, Taoism, Pagan faiths, Shintoism, etc.
I am not proposing that they are converted, just given the basics of the customes and rudimentaries of the faith and some history.
I teach kids, and they have no clue. By exposing them all to different cultures and beliefs, it may give them the tools to better relate to each other and better express their own faith. This would give them more Spiritual confidence.
I believe that we do a great disservice to our kids by stripping them of their belief system by not allowing them to honour their religions, and then sending them into their world of school for the majority of their day. In a way it is religious oppression.

I heard that there is some way to get how many miles the Jeep Wrangler has on it even if the odometer is broken. Is this true or there is no way to get a reading?

I dreamed I was visiting some foreign country, and as we were doing a tour, I looked up at one of the mountains and saw a beautiful castle. I said I wanted to go there, but the tour guide said it was cursed. I decided to go anyway. When I got to the top of the mountain, it wasn't a castle, but an old monastery. It was all dilapidated and covered in spider webs and dead leaves. There were these old nuns there who kept telling me I was cursed, and I ran to try to escape them. I ran across this old rope bridge, and on the other side was still the old monastery. I couldn't get away from it.

I bought a motorcycle from a guy who did not have the cycles title at the time. He said he needed to apply for it. After three months of promises he tells me the title was not in his name, it was in someone elses and that person died, so he's having a hard time getting it. I have numerous e-mails from this guy stating his son was driving this bike all last year (without a license?) and in each one it appears he is the current owner. He lives in Iowa, I live in Wisconsin. With all my e-mails, how hard is it to sue him? I was also told it is illegal just to try and sell a motorcycle without a tittle. Help!

I certainly do not. Why on earth should someone be rewarded for breaking the law? It is really just a myth that illegals take the jobs no one wants. They take the jobs that Americans used to do before illegals made the wage go really low. Also, it is just a slap in the face to people like my ancestors who traveled thousands of miles overseas in crowded, disease ridden ships to LEGALLY receive citizenship. If amnesty is granted is only a matter of time before the USA becomes a third world just like Mexico. I am sick of this country's politicians selling its citizens out. Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves.

Personally, I'm partial to "Swing Low, Sweet Chartiot"

Swing low, sweet chariot,
Coming for to carry me home,
Swing low, sweet chariot,
Coming for to carry me home.

I looked over Jordan, and what did I see?
Coming for to carry me home,
A band of angels coming after me,
Coming for to carry me home.

she's verbally and mentally abusive; on the other hand, she's smothering and overprotective! But I'm 34. We've NEVER had a good relationship.

She recently told me that when I was in college, she wished I would've gone to school closer to home, so she could have been on campus with me EVERY DAY. Uh, why?! Maybe some kids want that but who NEEDS that? I told her that wasn't normal AT ALL. And my mother protested vehemently. Then my aunt agreed with me, and if I recall, my mom didn't respond much. Bu I'm sure inwardly she still disagreed.

Before you ask, yes, she was severely neglected and abused as a kid on into adulthood (mainly by her own mom). So I understand her REASONS. Her sense of reality is distorted. But how can we bring it back into focus?

I recently told her she needs help, but she refuses. However, being around her makes me a tad sick. I just try to stay away so she won't drive me crazy too. But that's wrong...Help!
