My wife (married 24 yrs.) typically utters, "Jesus" when she is frustrated or dissappointed in something my 14 year old daughter does or doesn't do. My 18 year old daughter and I told her she should not use his name in vain, that Jesus has nothing to do with the situation. Further, I told her some people find it offensive, and out of respect she should not speak like that. She retorted, "I'll speak any way I damn well please!"

To me, this is a sign of selfishness, immaturity, and disrespect of both God and for her immediately family members that she supposedly loves. I find this particularly bad, because she knows I have high moral standards, and we even sent our two girls to Sunday school when they were children. My 18 yr old daughter played on a church basketball team for 10 years.

We had invitations to come to our neighbors childrens high school graduation party in the neighbor hood. But my children do not play with their older children but have in the past played with both siblings of the graduating children. I just dont feel obligated since we dont even get together or talk more than a greeting we give when we see each other in the neighborhood. Also would $5 be cheap for people you dont know?

I have dry goods - rice, spices, etc, which end up spoiling from moth's intrusion. They are kept in air tight plastic containers (usually original packaging), but they still seem to get inside.

Only safe methods please - no moth balls in my flour.

My sister-in-law is trying to get pregnant, and about a month ago I told her a very cute girls name. Ever since then she says that if she ever has a girl that's what she is going to name her. The problem is is that my hubby and I are trying for a baby and most likely will get pregnant before her (she's been trying for a very long time). Is it wrong to want to name the baby the name I told her about?

I slept around 12 and im assuming i swollowed the backing around 2 am because the ball got loose and i couldnt find the backing or the ball this morning, well anyway its now 8:30 am and it looks closed. what can i do? can i just poke another backing in it or do i have to get it repeirced?

My daughter is 22 months old with a 101.9 temp and still going up. I have given her motrin at home and called the Dr office. She has no other symptoms besides the fever. I spoke with the nurse at my peditricians office and she told me that since there are no other symptoms that I should just treat her fever at home. She said that there is no need to see her. The problem I have with that is the fact that when she has a sore throat or ear infection her fever doesn't respond to over the counter meds and we end up in the ER with a fever of 103 or higher. There are several walkin clinics in town that I am able to take her to. My question is.....If she was your daughter what would you do?

No, in the twelve years we have been together i have been out once, only because he did. Never ever cheated or given him a reason not to trust me. Same goes for him. When a skeptic asks you to perform a miracle by faith, like Jesus said you can and will, your typical response is the claim that you should not test God.

We consider this a cop-out because Moses took the miracle challenge with the pharoh's sorcerers by throwing down his staff and turning it into a serpent. Wow! What an amazing miracle!

Why do we not see miracles like this anymore when an opportunity is presented?

Even if it is not a challenge or a test, in situations where a miracle would be greatly beneficial, we still do not see these miracles.

The only things we see are trickery, which even then are subpar to the "magic" displayed by people such as David Blane and Criss Angel.

Please explain why none of you are performing miracles. No cop-outs please.

It is made of brick and concrete and has a top coating like some sort of plaster. The top coating is deteriorating with age and is cracking and very untidy looking. What should I use to resurface it?
