I slept around 12 and im assuming i swollowed the backing around 2 am because the ball got loose and i couldnt find the backing or the ball this morning, well anyway its now 8:30 am and it looks closed. what can i do? can i just poke another backing in it or do i have to get it repeirced?

it`s probably closed, because facial piercings tend to do that very quickly...it happened to me with my monroe piercing...i had to wait 30 days to have it re-done...

it depends on how long youve had the piercing for. If youve had it for several years then it should take a while for it to close, if youve only had it for less than a year theres a good chance its closed by now. i wouldnt try to put another barbell through it until you have a piercer look at it because if you try and do that yourself you could hurt yourself if the piercing is closed. good luck!

Make sure to disinfect it first. Poke the hole with a straight bar, which will make it easier and more likely to make it through if your hole is closed. After it's in, make sure to twist and turn it inside your ear for a couple of days, and constantly clean it as it heals.

My wife and daughter usually don't wear earring very often so there's have been closed for a long time, and they can push rings through. It's odd, but I love to do this for them and see the skin break when it happens.

it really depends on how closed it is. but you should be able to work your way back in. if it's too closed though you may have to get it redone. play with it a little and see if you can ease it through.

Just try putting a clean one through it ,, but ice it a bit first just incase you feel pain ,, ,then if it doesnt go through which it should ,,, go get it redone. Goodluck!

it should be ok aslong as its not a cheap one because it might get infected!
