i have been on the pill for a month now and 3 days. the condom broke yesterday. should i be worried about pregnancy? should i get the Emergency Contraception? My friend told me to just double up on my BC and that works as EC. i dunno what to do. please help!!!!!!!!

If you've been taking the pill EXACTLY as you should be, then there is next to ZERO chance of pregnancy worries. However, if you were with a new partner (is this why you a condom?) then you should consider the possibility of STDs.
The pill is VERY effective if taken properly. So if pregnancy is your only concern, I wouldn't even worry about it.

DON'T EVER DOUBLE THE DOSE OF ANY MEDICATION!!!! Including bc pills...
You do nothing. You wait untill you get your period and if you don't then you stop the pill and take a pregnancy test. True, it's good you use condoms for std's but since you do, there is no need for the pill (in terms of bc, if you're taking it to regulate your period or for any other cause, well, fine).
Pills and condoms have about the same effect as bc methods, so..
If I were you, I wouldn't worry at all.

Do not double up on BC. The pill should be in your system by now, but to be sure go to the doctor, i never heard of the EC..if it works then why not.

Stop worrying the pill should be working fine. Just take it as normal. Highly unlikely you will get pregnant. Good job at using two birth controls!!!

I wouldn't worry. you've been on the pill long enough. taking 2 pills won't help any.

Don't every double up on birth control unless you missed a dose. If you have taken your birth control as prescribed you(not missing any doses) shouldn't have to worry. It's good that your using extra protection!! (I'm proud of ya) Most don't think about STD's and seems you have your head on straight. VERY PROUD of ya!

your pill should be working by now, but I'd get the emergency contraception if I were you just to be on the safe side :)

as far as i know, as long as you have been on the pill for at least a full month, you are safe.
