Im bringing my 1 1/2 old Yorkey with me on a 13 HR road trip, he doesnt like car rides and always whines and cries when he's in the car. Any recommendations on how to calm him down? Any good tricks to calm him?

I think he whines because he wants to be outside and not inside

My 13 year old daughter really wants to get her cartilage piereced. (I do not have mine done) I was wondering should I take her to Claries or a Palor. Also what might happen after words with it getting infected or anything like that?

I ask this because on the one hand 'Britain' as a sovereign state is dominated by England and yet the Welsh have a greater claim to descendency from the celtic 'Britons'; the earlier inhabitants of 'Britain' in the geographical sense.

My hand has gone numb since my 6st son accidentally stepped on my relaxed hand. My fine motor skills have, now almost completely gone. I can normally touch type, but now I don't know where my fingers are going. I am completely stressing over it because I was looking for a job in the IT sector due to graduating with a business IT degree.

I don't think it is CTS (median nerve) due to the fact that my pinky and ring fingers are just as numb as my thumb and index finger. My doc won't refer me to the hospital until it has been a month; it has currently been 15 days since the first tingling sensation. The numb feeling has also spread all the way up my arm down to the waist on the left side of my body.

Please don't tell me to go to the doctors because they are quite useless! My doctor did check my blood pressure and my reflexes concluding it was not my blood pressure or a stroke. He said that my nerves have gone weak, and to go back and see him in 2 wks if symptoms persist.

I live w/ him and my 13 yo girl. Until a year ago they used to figh a lot, he was very jealous of her because he thought I loved her and didn't love him.Not true, though I agree I was much harder on him than on her. Several times he was mean to her and, though never did anything awful, did unacceptable things, like throwing her in a swimming pool when she was ready for a party (there was no danger of drowning). It's true she used to tease him and make him mad. For several times he got harsh punishments and she enjoyed this and teased him. Finally he stopped fighting w/ her and for some time tried to make up for his wrongdoings. When he considered it was enough, he simply stopped talking to me and her. He's a very responsible boy, an honor student, respected by friends and teachers. But very bitter and unhappy, resentful never smiles. Says he doesnt want to have make kids, because males can't be loved. I've been trying to get closer to him, but he's extremely resentful and avoids me.

I mean, I'm not ancient, but so many of the answers on here are barely legible. Even people who have some sort of grasp of it write things like ect. instead of etc.! (It's short for et cetera).
Is the root cause that spelling is no longer marked in school unless it's for English? Is it the fault of textspeak? Is it the death of the English language? What do you think?

My daughter is 21 months old and she sleeps about 15 hours at night and has a 3 hour nap during the day. If i wake her up early than she is very cranky and has to have like 2 three hour naps. For example last night she went to bed at 9:30 and woke up this afternoon at 12:50. I just hope nothing is wrong with her. She acts normal wit lots of energy during the day so I dont know if there is something wrong or not. Anyone have any answers or advice?

I have never been christened and I do believe in God and Jesus but not in the whole bible, I do go to church occasionaly around christmas etc.. I don't believe in hell and all the crap! I don't think I'm an antheist but I wouldn't class myself as christian or chatholic! But I'm happy, is this wrong?

People get really offended when I refer to the "neocons" like they think it is some kind of bad name...

NeoCons actually named themselves as such. It simply means new conservative... and they are very different from old school conservatives...

That would be like me getting offended because someone called me a liberal...

What are your thoughts on this?
