the god of the bible state in (KJV ) Thou shalt not kill---yet in the entire old testament the jews claimed they were doing god's work, kind of funny Huh

Well cleary kimmie doesn't know her own bible. It says that god is compassionate, it doesn't say conditional compassion does it? I know your panties get all bunched up in my presence but please do get your facts straight hun. :)

Simply because he is the creator, the judge and the compassionate lover of our souls. We all know the law, when we choose not to live by it then we subject ourselves to the wrath of God. Follow the laws and love God if you want to see the compassionate side of him.

Because, as biblical skeptics are so wont to forget, compassion is just one aspect of God. He is also just and perfect and neither of these two attributes allow Him to abide sin.
