My home was built in 1920 so the varnish is old and has been there for years. I can't afford to replace them but I do want to brighten up my kitchen.

I know that when a compound is in brackets it means that you are looking at the concentration of that compound, but what type of concentration is it talking about (molarity, molality, or mole fraction)? Does it depend on the context in which it's used?

I replaced the odometer in my 2000 Buick Century. The old odometer had 68,000 miles on it. The new one has about 3000 miles on it. Do I have to report the old mileage? I live in New York.

Ok ladies here's my scenario and I hope someone can give me some good advice :-)

My boyfriend and I recently found out that we are expecting our first child together ( i have 1 from a previous relationship), great news we're very happy yes but 1 problem.....we live in different states.

He wants us (my daughter and i) to move to where he is, but my fears are the following: will I be able to get a job while pregnant? and how soon? will he be able to support us on just 1 salary? and what about our support and help system he has NO family where he is living. what do you think? am i just having a pregnancy paranoid moment? should i stay or should i go? what would you do? help me.



p.s. i have a decent job where i live & my entire family is here.

I found out 3 guys I work with use CPAP machines. I never heard of these things before. All 3 of the guys look like Tony Soprano. Let's just say they're not joggers or dieters. Is there a correlation to these machines and weight? Wouldn't weight loss be a better solution?

I ask because my dad says he needs one now, and I think he just needs to be more active and lose weight.

I have a friend who's going to Vietnam next month and I want to mix her a CD with music about the Vietnam War from the Vietnam War era. I'd mostly like to include the obvious (i.e. Buffalo Springfield), but I'm drawing a blank beyond that. So come at me with your vast musical knowledge - I'm open to lesser known tunes, too, as long as they're relevant.

Scripture ref: Luke 23:42-43

Now my question is this; if there is "purgatory" as some are taught then how is it Jesus, himself tells the man on the cross next to him, ..."Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

because i visited a dentist office and left after they placed a xray vest on me that had brown stains on it and after no one could explain if it it was blood or not i left\ if anyone works at a dentist office and could explain the stains
ps i asked the assistants & the actual dentist and got no answer
