I agree with everyone that said choose colors that you love, since it's your wedding! I was a February bride, and went with red-wine (and white-silver). The brown and olive sounds a little military-drab, unless you consider sticking a lot of pink or other warm color in there to lighten it up. Keep in mind that days are very short in February, and the days may be gray.
Flowers can be difficult to get in February, especially in view of Valentine's Day. We ended up with red Anthyrium due to limited choices of other flowers -- I'm probably misspelling this. On the positive side, we found a hall that had a fireplace and the florist stocked it with wood, which made the room cozy with the table candles..and we got a fantastic deal on a honeymoon, unlike the poor June brides. Likewise, we've been able to have some great anniversary trips!
You'll get lots of color ideas as you look at Bridesmaid dresses. February is wintry enough that you can go with any of the winter colors too (royal or medium blues, greens, golds, reds or dark pinks) but you could even go with the lighter colors if you like them too since Spring is approaching...and after all, you're getting married! You aren't limited from picking colors you love just because it's February.

I agree that it shouldn't really matter! Just an idea, I know a lot of people do the Valentine's Day theme for February weddings, but if you don't want to go that far, you could do the brown and light pink, It's very popular, but I've seen weddings with these colors, and they're gorgeous!!! Also, I love Black and Hot pink! That is a great look! Very sheik! With either of these you can incorporate the pinks for February. Best wishes!

Here's what I think: It's your wedding. If you want those colors, go for it. If I want neon green and purple at my wedding, thzat's what I'm going to have (but I won't be having those-ha!). The point really is-it's your day. As long as your soon-to-be-mate agrees on the colors, then what does it matter! You can wear black before labor day and white after, type of thing... :)
Of course, if you are looking for a traditional answer and you do care about the fashion faux pax's type of thing-then I don't think those colors would be appropraite for February-Would the main color be the olive or the brown? Will either one just be an accent color? That matters as well-if green is being used more with brown as an accent, then that could be a lot more traditional for Feb, but if it's brown, that's more of a fall.winter color, I think.
I hope that helps-let me know!

Olive and chocolate brown are seen as more FALL colors. Think about the scenery around you and you'll know what is appropriate. February is on the edge of SPRING....usually spring colors are lighter feeling, like pastels. If you hate pastels, use more basic colors like a deep red. More and more brides are using black. I know it sounds morbid but it comes across as formal, not morbid. I'd keep away from the olive and brown personally. I had brown for my wedding, but it was in October. Goodluck! The most important thing is that you and your fiance be happy with it and that your wedding be a reflection of YOU.

Definitely. We're having a September wedding and I contemplated those colors as well. But because they're both earth tones, make sure to add a splash of color. You suggested pink, which is very nice, but make sure that it's a bright pink. I would prefer a bright orange because it would pop like no one's business. Use the accent color in the flowers and a few touches only, and it will be beautiful.

I think that is great colors. but it also depends on your theme. I would also add a plum color in it. like the guys where chocolate tuxes with a olive green or plum vest and the bridesmaids where plum or olive green dresses. I think just those colors are KIND OF Bland.

whatever colors you like, honey! it's YOUR wedding!
you can have a light blue and yellow wedding if those are the colors you like.
how about frosty blue and white? it could be kind of a snowy, icy feel.
how about olive green and chocolate?? i like those. just make just they aren't too close in color, but don't look like mint choc chip ice cream.
OR you could do something like the holidays, with red and black and white.
how about ivory and green, like an ivy green. those are nice colors for a wedding and then your invites could have ivy on them and there could be a whole ivy theme.
you could even have tiny flowerpots with some ivy in them and a tag talking about making love grow....yadda yadda....
and the centerpeices could be ivory white lillies and ivy and lots of greens.
have fun with it!

Go with the colors you like. It doesn't matter what the month is. If you like olive and chocolate go with that.
