I replaced the odometer in my 2000 Buick Century. The old odometer had 68,000 miles on it. The new one has about 3000 miles on it. Do I have to report the old mileage? I live in New York.

What about the next inspection? There will be a different mileage for the inspection sticker.

no,you don't have to do anything, just install it,if you ever go to sell it,just tell the seller that it has been changed ,and that's it,you don't have to report it,but you might want to write the mileage it had down in the owners manual as proof, other than that ,you don't have to report it to anyone, good luck with it,hope this helps.
