I am in the Marine Corps DEP. I leave June 25th. My recruiter says it will be open in about a year. I don't want to jepordize my leave date that much. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i am asking this question as i found that the typical life of a singaporean is hectic and high-pressure. in addition, cost of living is so high but standard of living is low compared to developed western country. most singaporean can only live in public flats, medical fees are expensive, people are unfriendly, strict laws enforcement, competitive lifestyle, hot and humid weather, high density ....

Currently residing in Detroit and looking for a move. I've been doing a lot of research but it doesn't compare to people who lived/live there. I'm looking for the following qualifications:

1: NOT spread out (Detroit does a number on my mileage)
2: Low crime area (Aren't we all)
3: Warm weather cities
4: Viable job market

The cities I was considering was Jacksonville, Memphis and Atlanta, but now am having second thoughts because of various reasons. Can you help me?

We are only given at the most 100 years which goes by like a minute of time. We have that time to prove to God we deserve to live on this earth forever. When we waste it by selfish pursuits and hating and killing and with racist remarks.

I install a game into my laptop and PC respectively. I can play the game by PC after installation. Why i can't even start the installation in my laptop? The install wizard will automatically close when i try to install.

It is a chinese game. Should i run Chinese Star or NJStar when install the game? If i don't, will it affect the dialouge between the characters? I mean the chinese character became weird symbols and totally can't understand.

In two years I will be graduating from college with a BA in English, a Psych minor, and some science background. I'm not really sure what I want to do for a career yet, but I know I won't be happy with my job unless I am happy with where I choose to live.

I am dissatisfied with America in a lot of ways, and I refuse to stay here merely because it is where I grew up. If I do choose to stay here, I need to at least be sure that I do so because it is the best fit for me.

I am looking for a place that is very liberal-minded, culturally and environmentally aware. I don't mind a higher cost of living- I am willing to pay the price for a cleaner, safer home. America is almost too large for me. I would possibly be interested in an area with greater history... England is a possibility. I also like more urban areas.

Any suggestions?

I've just been down the computer mall. I enquired about CD writers. New brand name (Epson, HP) basic writers are under 10 GBP and CD/DVD writers are under 20 GBP. I am not sure which to buy. I haven't got a writer on my computer as it's old. What type of user would require each type? What are the advantages of CDs over thumb drives?
