It sounds like you've already made up your mind about Singapore. What's the point of asking this question when it seems like you've never considered the good points of Singapore?

I don't find it hectic, nor do I feel pressured.

If you think the cost of living is high, please try living in Japan. Food and transportation in Singapore is dirt cheap.

What's wrong with living in public flats? Have you been inside one? Some of them are really lovely.

As for medical fees, if you go to a polyclinic, it's a lot cheaper. Private practice is obviously more expensive, but the polyclinics are affordable.

As for the law enforcement, you just have to get used to it. Each country has its own laws. Basically, if you have enough common sense, you should be fine.

Yes, the weather is really hot and humid and it's terrible at times. Thunderstorms are quite frequent. However, there are a lot of air conditioned places. The local trains and buses are air conditioned. Malls, offices... etc.

As for high density, well, what do you expect? That's what you get when you have limited land space and a popular location. If you don't like crowds, choose a different location in Singapore to live in. I think you're thinking of central Singapore. If you live in Pasir Ris or Eunos, it's not so populated. There are many places to live in Singapore.

Singapore is one of the safest places to be in. We don't have major disasters like typhoons or earthquakes. We have a low crime rate. The education system is pretty good. Many of my foreign friends love Singapore and one of them described it as a Disneyland version of Asia.
