Why don't students and parents talk to the financial aid before asking here?

Just out of curiosity...as a financial aid administrator I am astounded by the number of serious questions posed here (over and over again, I might add). What can we do to make information more accessible to students/parents? Serious answers only please.

Why are you liberal? Here is my feeling...because you asked specifics?

Liberals make unsubstantiated claims CONSTANTLY. Gore says global warming will bring an end to the world soon if we aren't careful. What happens? Liberals unite and rally around a cause they know NOTHING about. I am a scientist. Most people that agree with Gore probably are not. Funny thing is, most scientists agree that that claim is absurd! Does global warming exist? Sure, there is evidence. Is it going to kill our children? Probably not. In the 50s it was global cooling, now global warming. And then come the progressive taxing of us so we can keep people that are lazy on welfare. Here you go. Take out loans, get an education and do something with your life. Finally, liberals are idealistic fools. Conservatives are realists. That is why we are more practical and liberals can't think for themselves. Thanks. Now the question is why are you liberal after reading this?!

When Morphine is given to someone with a terminal illness, does it speed up the dying process?

I have a loved one who has advanced esophageal cancer, the doctors say, all that's left to do now is to make her more comfortable. She is being given Morphine for the pain. Someone told me this makes the body shut down more quickly. Does anyone know if this is really true? I can't find that info in my online research of the drug! Please help if you are familiar with this situation, or if you have medical knowledge.
