Ebay. People put their dresses on there after the wedding. Yes, they were worn once. But C'mon, you are only going to wear it once. You can find dresses that are $150-$300 for about $50-$100. I see the more popular dresses on there a lot. Just ask for the measurements from the seller or if it is a David's Bridal dress, go to David's and try the same one on. Hey to save $100 why not?

At the mall! My bridesmaids and I went on a shopping trip to the mall and found really nice dresses that weren't typical bridal gowns but still elegant enough for a wedding at many regular stores. They ended up finding the perfect dresses for $45!

Go online to www.chadwicks.com They have cute dresses and also sell bridesmaid dresses in many colors from 40 - 80 bucks.....

If it's just for 1 person, you should be able to check out prom dresses, as they could easily pass for BM dresses, and they should be on sale now, as prom season is pretty well over...if you have to get the same dress for a few women, I don't have a good answer, I'm afraid.
