Story: A woman's husband passes away and leaves behind a debt of close to $13,000 from a bank loan. He left in his bank account under $5,000 and also some stocks worth about $6,000.

The husband had no will and it has been almost a year and still the wife has not filled the paper work to claim herself as the executor of his estate.

She is concerned that the debt will fall upon her. She is an unemployed, low-income senior citizen.

They had one child who is a married adult.

What should the widow do? She has no idea how to proceed and everyone gives conflicting information.

Is "loving your enemies" only a personal commandment for Christians or does it have global implications?

Jesus tells us to love our enemies so that we can be children of God (resembling Him). Is this only a personal issue, or can it be applied to the world scene?

If loving our enemies is His will, then how should we (Christians) love Iraq, and the Muslim world? WWJD? What would Gandhi-ji do? What would Martin Luther King Jr. do?

How do you try to practice loving your enemies?

So my Dad isn't coming 2 my graduation do u wanna hear his exucuses?

well he said originally that he already put in for his vacation even though i told him since feb ( i graduate in june). he actually had the nerve to lie and say he didn't know that i was graduating this year and that i told my aunts 3 months before him.i live in connecticut and he lives in florida. we just got in contact 2 yrs ago. he said it's just another day and i'm just getting a piece of paper and thre wil b more important thing like graduating college. the whole time my aunt(his sister) was listening to the whole conversation. i even got on the fact that since i've found him he hasn't come to visit. he asked if he was suppose to just fly and come see me i said yes because i'm his child. he has 2 other children that he's been around their whole life and he hasn't been in my life more than 2 1/2 years then after that all we did was tlk on the phone until we lost contact. i haven't seen him in 11 yrs and i'm turning 19 in august. i don't know what he looks like he's pratically....

JWs, your advice?

Had a discussion with a neighbor yesterday, who asked if we'd seen a man walking about and knocking on doors -- presumably JW, as he had pamphlets of some sort and was conservatively dressed. But he was by himself (it's my understanding that those in field service go out in pairs) and when she spoke with him, he said couldn't leave literature with her unless she made a $5 donation; she declined. He asked "what about your neighbors, would they be interested in learning the truth?", meaning us; she said she had no idea but she knew we were Catholic. He hasn't showed up here yet.

The thing is, I know the local hall has already made some kind of notation about us (probably "don't even bother") because after a couple of visits early on when I explained politely that we weren't interested, no JW team has come back. So I'm wondering now if this man is really JW or has quite another purpose for going door-to-door and just assumes the persona. Your thoughts? What to do, if anything?

have any weight loss suggestions?

ok I eat healthy, but I weigh 200 lb and im 5'6". No one believes I weigh that much, but no matter what they say Im not happy with my weight. Not when jsut 2 years ago i was 118. Im not looking to be that small again, but maybe 140.
Heres my problem:

Im holding water really bad, and when ever I work out i seem to jsut gain muscle instead of just losing fat.
What should I do to get rid of the water, and what excersize should I do to lose the fat not gain muscle?
I already have a small appetite, but at times I completely lose my appetite. Thats when I know I need to eat but dont feel like it for a couple of days. Should I still eat?
I cant run, because I have shin splints. So I use an eliptical. Sometimes even jsut walking hurts....

If anybody can make some suggestions that would be great.

Where is it possible to simply build a web site?

it's quite embarassing....?

I once focusd at a men's private part(with clothes on) while I was thinking something on my mind(not dirty thing, of course) actually, but after I stop thinking, only I move my visual to other place...but it's too late!...he noticed...it actually happen quite long time ago..but I still can't forgive myself...i feel so embarassing...!...how to overcome this?

i have a fishtank and some of the fish seem to be scraping themselves on the gravel?

it has only been set up for just over a week-it is 2 foot and i'm keeping coldwater fish. a few goldfish, 2 carp, a catfish and a couple of tiny fish. the carp and the tiny fish seem to be scraping themselves across the gravel and the ornament. what can this be? and how to treat?

Why isnt my switch working?

I am putting in a switch to turn off and on my subs. I cut the power to the reciever to the subs and inserted my led switch there. But for some reason being off it still sends power to the subs and the light doesnt work.. whats going on here?
