Very good question.

Young was a tricky bastard. He would have been very hard to CLEANLY beat by anyone. I think a guy who could apply pressure like Tyson or Frazier would do it.

Jimmy Young was a good counter puncher and tricky with his foot movement, but he ran into problems after he fought Ali due to his coward style of fighting for the championship. The judges voted for Ali, even though most felt that he won. After that fight he struggled to get fights to get back to that level of credential he once had. With that said he could not handle a pressure inside fighter. I think personally a prime Joe Frazier or a prime Mike Tyson would give him problems. But Young came around in his prime when the Heavyweight Division was decreasing in good Contenders. Good boxer but wrong time of entry in his career. Had one shot but did not kill......

LET ME GET U ON THE RIGHT PAGE. U HAVE STARTED OUT WRONG FM THE BEGINNING.

WHOMEVER THE THE JUDGES SAY WON A FIGHT IS WHO WON UNLESS THE THE RESULTS ARE NULLIFIED.

ALL U NEED IS TO WIN IS ONE POINT FOR IT TO COUNT. THAT IS FOR LOSERS TO SAY THAT U DID NOT BEAT ME BAD.

I GUESS U MEAN ALL TIME FIGHTERS AND NOT JUST IN IN JIMMY'S ERA.

HERE IS MY LIST OF FIGHTERS THAT COULD REALLY BEAT YOUNG (PER YOUR VERSION):

LOUIS
ROCKY
J. JOHNSON
HOLMES
DEMPSEY
FRAZIER
WALCOTT
CHARLES
TUNNEY
HOLYFIELD
LEWIS
TYSON

P. S. PLUS I ALWAYS FELT THAT YOUNG WAS OVERRATED AS A FIGHTER. HE LOST 19 BOUTS. HE WAS JUST A GOOD FIGHTERS THAT HAD AN AWKWARD STYLE.

Mike Tyson. The guy was very scary in the ring and had no fear. He was an animal.

jimmy young was one of the slickest defense counter punchers around.
kinda like what mayweather did with de la hoya.

problem with jimmy no one was afraid of him, he did not have a K O punch.
