We are at a crossroads concerning this issue, I wouldn't even speculate on what will happen, BECAUSE the economic powers that be are not interested in anything except that dollar right now. And people are completely manipulated by this way of thinking...

There is an up and coming 'green' fad in the works, it is to mollify and confuse the masses.

Ok sweety pie. I'm gonna share something with you. It's a wonder I turned out to be the person I am. My mom thinks that global warming is all some crazzzy conspiracy from the liberal science community to make Bush look stupid. No, really she actually says that. To other people. I'm embarassed! I didn't think bush needed help looking stupid! And were those crazy conspiratorial scientists just saying it 15 years ago on the off chance that one day they could make GWB look stupid?

It is unwinnable because of the Laws of Thermodynamics. The 2nd law called Entropy states everything tends from usable energy to unusable energy. It's a Law. Like gravity is a Law. It is a fact of life. Very simply put, the 3 Laws of Thermodynamics say;

1) You cannot win in this game
2) You cannot break even in this game
3) You can't even get out of this game

The Laws of Thermodynamics are the supreme rulers of the Universe

Yes! My family drives me crazy! Half take the attitude that if they cant see it directly in their own lives, it's not important and the other half thinks it doesn't exist b/c that douche bag Rush Limbaugh (or should I say, Limp-bag) yells on his idiot show that it doesn't exist. I quote my grandmother 'Anyone with common sense can see we have miles of land that has nothing developed on it'. This coming from the same woman, who only THREE days ago said 'I can't believe how many houses are going up. I remember when this was all wooded.'
Aaaagh!

I think it's an unwinnable war because people simply do not think their actions have that much of an impact on the world overall. So what if they don't recycle? So what if they litter? And so on...They simply don't care.

Conspiracy as in it isn't real or it is all a lie?

Please don't tell me that you're one of these types who believe that "the Sun is getting hotter"...
