Is it necessary to know how to use HTML? Packaged web site building programs are out for me, because I live in a foreign country. Downloading "free" web sites has so far proved frustrating.

You can try the Website Tonight feature on this web hosting service. https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/rhp/default.asp?prog_id=SanctStore

I am using them to host several of my web sites. Their services are quite good. You should check it out sometime.

The website tonight feature provides you with a web site builder and many templates and images for you to use.
