We've planned this big graduation party, sent out over 100 invites, and now the forecast is predicting rain. There's a small covered pavillion, but it's not big enough to cover everyone. Any suggestions on how to handle the rain? We had hoped to make use of the park's green and tennis courts for things like ultimate frisbee, football, or volleyball. Now, I'm not quite sure what to do.

ok i had my period may 4th threw 9th of 2007 . i count 28 days from the day my period stops and my period come 28 days after i stop . i dont count from the day i start i know its wrong but thats just how i do it and it works so knowing how i count and everything when are my most fertile days. i know 14 days after your period starts but since i count from the end date of my period shouldnt it be then ? if i count 28 days from where my period starts it doesnt start at 28 days only if i count from where it stops ? please help thanks

or skinny-fat? when i was 15 i lost 10 kg. now i'm pretty thin but i feel i have a bit too much "skin" probably from all the weight i lost. somebody said i'm a "fat-skinny" person cos even if i look skinny i have lots of body fat inside??? is this even possible? please explain!

If only the biblical God is being taught, do the non-Christian biology students get to be excused from what is now a religious lesson?

Can we as parents have our kids taught just evolution and not the religious part? Do we get that elective?

i no a little bit about them. i know theyre not cancer cells. I mean, even if you don't know what it means, does it even look offensive?

For the record it is a term that is always meant extremely affectionately - but in a platonic tense and means that you're lovely.

I'm not Scottish by the way - but - you wouldn't believe the amount of times we hear that. I'm a Mackem ... from the North East of England.

Canny can mean many things.

For instance ....

'Gan canny' means to be careful - as in ... gan canny, man, it's skitey (slippery/icy)

He's canny wi' his munny - tight/miser

Ahh, ant ye canny? You're a lovely person.

It was canny cauld/caad - it was so cold your eye lids froze shut the second you opened the door.

Canny bairn (yes, 'bairn' means child) can equally refer to adults as children, especially if someone's done you a big favour. (like give you lots of nice answers and thumbs up/stars).

You can all now confound those around you with a host of new sayings.

I know this doesn't really pertain to politics, but in light of the controversy surrounding John Edwards' haircut, I thought I would post it here. Does anyone here REALLY know what would make a haircut worth that much? After all, as we all know, John Edwards has short hair, so he could just as easily go to Supercuts and get the same results. In fact, I have short hair myself, and I normally get a $12 haircut at Supercuts and $40 highlights at Regis, and I've gotten LOTS of compliments on my hair. Does anyone actually know what sets one haircut apart from another?
