Muons (mu mesons) are short lived, negatively charged particles, much larger than electrons (207x), but smaller than protons (1/9th). I believe the muon charge matches that of the diminutive electron.

There are numerous other examples--positrons are anti electrons (opposite charge and spin), antiprotons have charge and spin opposite that of protons.

Protons are always present. Though magnetic fields might be far away from the source.
