No Reagan should not be carved into Mt. Rushmore...he was by far not one of the better presidents.
And for those of you whom do not know, Mt. Rushmore carvings are not complete. They stopped the project because of lack of funds. That is why the debris field below has never been cleared away from around the base. If you ever go to Mt. Rushmore you will see and hear information to that fact.

I happen to think Ronald Reagan was one of this country's better presidents. However, being from South Dakota, I don't want anything added to Mt Rushmore. I don't believe Gutzon Borglum intended to have a monument that would be added to repeatedly over the years. In my opinion, nothing nor no body should be added to Mt Rushmore. I don't think there is room from anymore faces on the mountain. The original plans for the monument was for the four faces that are there now.
Would you continue to carve little people in around the Lincoln Memorial or the Washington Monument. I think not.

No. His place in history not withstanding, Mount Rushmore is a finished piece of art. You should no more add Reagan to Mount Rushmore than you should add FDR to The Last Supper.

Absolutely... although the greatest President ever might be disputeable... Definitely the best President since, say, Jefferson... and definitely my favorite President of all time, but maybe not the greatest... and you can tell which of these people answering are American republic-hating, socialist and Communist hugging democrats...

Politics and opinions of Reagan aside, I'd say don't mess with Rushmore. It's an amazing accomplishment for it's day and should simply be enjoyed and admired as it is.

No, that monument is complete. He deserves something of his own. I'm not sure he was the greatest President ever, but he is certainly in the top 5. For now, I say put his face on the quarter or the dime.

NO WAY!!!! Reagan was one of the worst Presidents! His deregulation policies have had a negative, lingering affect on our economy. Major job losses and recessions to name two of the problems Reagan caused.
