Has something else happened in your relationship? This is an expression of something is changed and he wants it back. I could be that you two were intimate before, and now you've decided that the relationship is moving too fast. Slowing down a relationship could mean he misses the intimacy... and instead of saying the word sex... he replaces it with a word less obvious or offensive.

Maybe he thought you were the girl from the other night. Or maybe if he works really long hours then maybe he does miss you throughout the day. I really don't know I'd ask him and see.

it means ..even tho your there the partner misses you as in theres no communicating there..like talking to you and you dont hear or listen..even tho your there your attentions are elsewhere it seems to the other person
he or she wants some attention..conversation..some kind of knowledge you know there beside you

It could mean they miss being with you,spending more time with you,want to get with you....yea stuff like that,or if they havent seen you in awhile they could say that b/c...they missed you.Just depends on your situation.
