Hi there.I have purchased a Stepdown Transformer so i can use a Record Cleaning Machine I am buying from the U.S.It uses a powered suction unit to clean the record. All transformers for use with American equipment have 110v output, but i think your equipment is usually 120v.in I have been told that there is nothing to worry about as 110v out on the transformer is enough to power the equipment connected to it .Our AC output in Australia is 240v but we can use any voltage from 220 to 250. Therefore 110v should be enough.
can anyone clarify and tell me it should be ok.Thanks a lot in advance.

I have a budget around £700 to spend. I'm looking at Vista Home Premium, Intel core duo/Intel core2duo (not AMD Basically) 2Gb RAM, at least 15" screen.

It will be used for web browsing, email and some light Office Suite work.

I may evolve and use it for photo manipulation or online movies.

Can anyone offer a recommendation?

Well, I'm a bit of a computer nerd myself. But this has me baffled, I recently downloaded something and it contained a virus... whoops! I know i have a virus because Internet Explorer unexpectedly opens to a webpage like WinAntivirus (Which is a virus itself!). What else is weird is that I use firefox but nothing happens to it (I guess the virus coding says to open IE..). Please tell me how to get rid of this virus its really annoying!

We got a 2 year old cat and then adopted a 6 month old kitten (A domestic Long Hiar) who are in no way related. The store where we got the kitten said she was litterbox trained and for the most part she is. However, we think she is urinating in places other than the litterbox. To make matters worse, I found cat poop on the mat outside the litterbox this morning. How can I get Aliza to use the litterbox all the time? We keep it pretty clean and change the litter at least once a month. We also have two boxes since the cats are still getting used to each other and don't always get along. Could Aliza be doing this because our older cat chases her around, and not in a playful way? Any help is appreciated.

A newly married couple returned to their house after being on honeymoon.

"Care to go upstairs and have a shag?" the husband asked.

"Shhh!" said the bride, "All the neighbours will know what we're about to do. These walls are paper thin. In the future, we'll have to ask each other in code. For example, how about asking "Have you left the washing machine door open" instead?"

So the following night, the husband asks, "I don't suppose you left the washing machine door open did you?"

"No, I definitely shut it", replied the wife who rolled over and fell asleep.

When she woke up however, she was feeling a little amorous herself and she nudged her husband and said,

" I think I did leave the washing machine door open after all. Would you like to do some washing?"

" No thanks" said the husband, "It was only a small load and I've done it by hand!".
