I have a detached two car garage and live in Central Ohio. It has two layers of bad shingles on it. I'll be removing all of those. Before I install the 3 tab shingles, how important is the tar paper. Do I need it? 15 lb. or 30 lb? What purpose does it serve. Any idea how big of a dumpster I need for a 2-car garage, 2-layer shingle tear off? Thanks!

I used to work for a window tinter for a while. He was known around Dallas so he had tons of clients (leasing agents, dealerships, and ultimate consumers), and he made about $5000 a week give or take. I know it would take quite a while to get a customer base that large, but I want to start my own window tinting business. I'm a college student so this would be a way for me to make cash on the side.

I am going to purchase the supplies to start tinting again. After a brief period of "breaking the rust from the bolts" I plan to start looking for clients. Now what I am curious about is how should I go about this.

(I plan on being known as a mobile window tinter) So I do not have a shop, but my house has a small garage. I'm getting off target...basically what would you recommend I do to get my name out there?

Keep in mind I am poor college student.

The last time I went with a gift certificate(5 years ago) they truned my blonde locks into a Flaming Red Domme Blunt Cut....it was my bf's birthday and he thought I did it just for him...(UHG!) it was i thought a hideous mistake, but it was striking and showed (perhaps..ahem) another part of me....from then on I have done my own hair!!
