Congrats, but i suggest you give it at least a two year engagement, make sure he is the person he says he is.

I was engaged once for one year, and he turned out to be the opposite of the person he was pretending to be, let me tell you it was the worst experience of my life and believe me he seemed like the sweetest person in the world.
