I am an atheist and was raised that way. Lately I've been questioning my beliefs. I want to learn more about God, specifically Islam. I've met some very nice muslims, and none of them tried to force their religion on me. The christians have sent hate mail and the usual trying to force me to convert. Then there is the troll who hates Islam, but because of what the troll said I am now looking into it deeply. 7proud muslimah is a friend and has been answering my questions, and so is TS and various others. I'm very interested and would like to learn more. No, I'm not converting, at least not now, but I would like to learn more. Those who only know hate, stay away, because this is a question to find out more. The hatred so far only pushed me toward Islam, instead of away like the intention was. Thank you to the muslims in advance.

I've seen a rheumatologist and he said that I'm ANA positive undiagnosed. How can that be? My PCP said that I have all the symptoms of SLE or Lupus. I don't want to be left in the dark and then get hit hard later. I really need to know for sure so I can start making the right life changes. Should I get a second oppion from another Rheumatologist?

Think about it. Jesus Christ was the Messiah but he was shunned as a heretic. Plato and philosophers at that time were thought as crazy, but there principles set the basis of a true commonwealth. He rightly realized that the federal government was corrupt, and had the courage to act on it. Though he did kill innocent people, he stood up to the government.

A while back, I posted a question in R&S. It’s since been deleted by yahoo, but to ask it, I needed to give a few details about my life. I described how greatly God has influenced my life, and, in order not to sound like just another religious person (i.e. stupid in an Atheist’s eyes), I simply gave a brief mention of my strait A's, my academic excellence, my ventures into such fields as particle physics, and so on. This angered many, many answerers. They accused me of having Schizophrenia, because of my faith, and furiously argued and denied that I, being 15, could have possibly understood particle physics as much as I did. The answerers were seriously convinced I was screwed up because I had faith AND intelligence, magnifying the overall ignorance of mankind. I ask you, why would you think what some of you thought? I've even researched schizophrenia and I have zero of the symptoms, aside from being saddened by current events and the flaws of myself and mankind.
