my boyfried and i have decided to get married after igraduate high school. now, i love him dearly but im still nervouse about it. its not that im having doubts i know this is what i want, but how can i be sure its what he wants? how can i make the rest of the world understand>

you can't be sure what anyone wants but yourself......you are too young to get married....go freakin' enjoy life for awhile!

Just because you WANT to do something doesn't mean its okay for you to go out and do it. (hope this isn't over your head) Think about what you are doing. please. Marriage is hard for people that are older have a career and are college educated. You are abut to begin a marriage where both of you will be seeking employment, housing, and maybe furthering education. These things create stress and hardache and pain in a marriage and add that with immaturity because you cant be anymore than 19. The rest of the world will never understand because most of the older and younger people in life know something you refuse to understand.The question is what is it going to take to make you understand you are going to make the biggest mistake of you life. Listen to some of those people that have been trying to discourage you before you go the school of SPECIAL EDUCATION. Sorry if sounds harsh but you need to hear it so you cant say you weren't told. Trust, one day you will be discouraging some teen girl or boy not to marriage right out of school.

After high school? How about after college? Or later!! You are clueless to life at this point and you want to jump into a major life decision such as marriage. Way too young. Get out in the real world and start experiencing and learning so when you do get married, you are able to make an adult decision instead of a childs.

I definately think..you should wait..why dont u guys get engaged...for few yrs....its too early to get married.....U definately needs to see the world more closer!! there is lot of learn and experience in life...and u need to do tht b ur own!!!

you won't be able to make the world understand why you are getting married so young. be sure this is really what both of you want. seek pre-martial counseling, to be sure you know what you are getting yourselves into.

You sound as if you are both too young. Live together first. No one will 'understand' a decision like this. It is silly. Do not bring a baby into this. Grow older first.
