I already have dark skin and am going on a beach holiday in two weeks, where i know I will be exposed to the sun a lot, I want to know how I can STOP myself from getting a tan and getting darker? Any products that do this?

My girlfriend was visiting me exactly 3 weeks a go, and she tested positive this week. I'm paranoid I have it, but am not sure if it's worth getting a blood test until I have serious symptoms. If I get tested now, being that I would have been infected three weeks a go, would the test show that I have it, or is mono undetectable until you have symptoms? Thank you for any response.

I was wondering if anybody knows about newscasts available some place on the net or shortwave radio in 'easy Japanese?' Several other countries (including US and France) have daily or weekly newscasts in a more 'accessible' version of their respective languages. What this means is that they use a deliberately limited vocabulary and also newscasters enunciate more clearly and they speak slower than regular newscasts. Here is an example of this done in French ('écouter' means listen and 'télécharger' means download).

I did some Internet searches for Japanese version of such a thing - but so far come up dry. I found out that NHK posts their regular news broadcasts online (in Japanese as well as a host of other languages) but have not yet found a 'simplified Japanese' version of news. Does anybody happen to know if there is such a thing in Japanese and how to find it? (done by NHK or otherwise).

It has very large green leaves, it is about 4 ft. tall right now, and the stalk is VERY thick, about 3 inches around and is a reddish, purple color. Anyone know where is can find out what this plant is or may be, or do you know what it might be? Any websites? Please help, I think it might be some type of fruit bearing tree, as we have been throwing our fruit seeds out in the backyard for years.Thanks.

Why is it that most of you like to say muslims don't condemn terrorism, but when we do it's spam? Please, help us understand. A person who is a troll will post all of this garbage, and is accepted. But when we try to show they are wrong by using actual verses (where they only have words and nothing to back it up), we are told we are wrong. When we condemn terrorism over and over again and show it's not a part of our religion and we are just as angry, we are told it's spam. When we keep quiet becuase we know it will be called spam, we are told that "silence is acceptance". Can you please make up your minds and get back to us when you can actually make a decision? this one is kinda of long, sorry.

2 bugs grow tired of walking and decide to hop onto a nearby racing bike. 1 bug sits within the tread of the smaller front wheel while the other bug sits within the tread of the larger back wheel. first, can u intuit the shape of the path that each bug will travel? second, can u intuit which bug, if either, travels a greater distance through space during any given bicycle ride?

So the big day of finding out if it's a boy, girl, or twins is tomorrow. I'm anxious, excited, and for some reason a bit nervous. I don't mean a reason such as saying, this action was caused by such and such a cause, rather a purpose for why all these causes and effects are happening on grand scale.


Say a very influencial Prophet were to come to Earth. Would the laws of the universe that are already in motion and moving along there set and unpreventable course allow the Prophet to fulfill the purpose they have on Earth. The word of this prophet causes other effects that had to happen and are unpreventable. Wouldn't this mean that no matter how many opposers set against him/her they would litterally be invincable until they have fulfilled their purpose.


What about other people like Hitler, he believed himself to be invincible, he was prevented from commiting suicide and dogded numerous close calls. Is this a coincedence or did he have to fulfill his lifes work. Perhaps even the belief that he was invincible influenced his behavior.

I have been threatened by a lawyer that if a bill for roofing is not paid immediately they will ask a judge to have the sheriff sell my house to satisfy the lien. I have been told that this is a lie and that they cannot get a court to do this, that the contractor must wait until the house is sold. I was also told that if I offer a payment plan the court will not force a sale.
