To watch on TV: Basketball. It's pretty exciting, and I'm a fan of basketball anyway. Have been since I was little.

To watch Live: Football. It's great! The whole sport is really intriguing to me. And usually, you just get all into the game without even realizing it.

To play: Swimming. Don't know if you would call it a playing sport, but it's great and good for cardio exercise. Talk about washboard abs!

Football-
They play together as a team and help each other. It's both a fast game and a slow game. The plays are fast, but 90% of the time there's a break in between plays and you can look back and figure out how the play were done and why.

Some of the injuries are good to.

Colorguard, but most people dont consider it a sport. But if they really knew what it took, it would change their minds.

I love it because it is an intense rush, and performing gives you this feeling, i cant describe other than breath taking.

American Football. It has everything. Speed, power, brains, finesse, teamwork. You can watch it for the chess aspect. Or you can watch it for the elite athlete jumps, turns, cuts, catches. Or you can watch it just to see guys get decapitated. I love all sports, but American Football has it all.

Hockey ... Dunno ... I first remember snicking downstairs to watch hockey wearing "Martha Miniture Dresses" (very vogue 4 a 4 yr old) and screaming "Icing --- Icing --- So Unfair" ... which Dad came downstairs to see what the commotion was ... he was soooo disapointed ... he had plans for me to be a little debutant ... and there I was all dressed up and loving the blue collar sport.

Later in life my love for hockey rubbed off on Daddy, and we were able to enjoy watching it together!!!

Ice Hockey... It's fast paced and rough... Although sticking that many people in a confined space with blades and stick then saying "Don't fight" seems pointless LOL

Rugby.

Requires guts, courage, endurance, effort, energy...

Speed, change of pace, strength...

Great skill, intelligence.

Puts on a good show / entertains.

Teamsmanship.

I used to play it...

...and because they'll let fat boys play it at school, who couldn't make it to play soccer.

football, cause some of the team colors are really cute, and those BIG HUGE SWEATY MEN WITH MUSCULAR BUTTS are a real incentive to watch
