More then likely no because the pit bull nullifies the owners home owners insurance. The insurance is not just voided for dog bites either, as the landlord would be violating the terms of the contract they can legally get away with not paying for anything.
Aside from that most landlords feel some sort of obligation to the neighbors and the safety of their children.

I don't know anything about Seattle, but I do know something about pit bulls. They are NOT considered dangerous everywhere. And, not ALL homeowners insurance companies discriminate based on breed. The people who answered you making those blanket statements are wrong. That's not to say, you won't have a challenge finding a landlord who will accept your pet pit, but assuming that Seattle does not have a breed ban in place--it's not impossible.
You will probably encounter some discrimination. But, I can tell you as someone involved in pit bull rescue that I have adopted out pit bulls to people who were renting and their landlords were fully aware of the dog because I called them myself to make sure they would not have a problem with the dog living on their property and that the tenants had put up a pet deposit where one was required.
I would suggest you check with your local Humane Society or pit bull rescue and ask them if they can give you some tips on finding pet friendly landlords. Bring your well mannered, immaculately clean pooch with you to meet the landlord when you go to view the place. Bring along any obedience diplomas or achievement certificates. If you call a potential landlord and say "I have a pit bull" that might be the end of the conversation. But, if you let them see that you have a nice, friendly dog under your control, the question of breed may not even come up. Good luck.
