I'm a 22 year old female. My neighbor, 24 year old male has shown interest in me, off and on, for the past three years. He's sweet, mature and intelligent. He seems insincere sometimes, which is why I'm not dating him now. One week he'll try really hard to get my attention. Another week he'll ignore me or give me the cold shoulder. I have developed a crush over time and I would like to date him, but I still don't trust him. Part of me feels that the smiles and sweet talking is just an act. The other part of me really likes him . I must admit that I'm to blame. When he first expressed interest in me, he did invite me out with him. It wasn't an official date date, but more of a way for us to talk and get to know each other. I turned him down. At the time I didn't see him in a romantic way.

I love "Heaven Knows" by Pre-Fab Sprout and "Melt with you" by Modern English. Also at the end of "A star is born" when Barbra Streisand sings "With One more look at you/Watch closely know"
But I'd have to say the Streisand song is my favorite.

I work for a large retail pharmacy. I have a pharmacist that constantly talks bad about me to my fellow co-workers. She is nice to my face. I confronted her and she just tried to back peddle her way out of it. I asked my boss, who is hers as well, to please talk with her about it and ask her to please stop gossiping about me. My boss is not good with confrontation and i'm not sure that he will or has done this. The biggest problem i have is that she talks about me to other employees and i feel that since she is a management position that this is not right. I have had personal problems in my life recently and this is what she chooses to talk about and seemingly judge me for. I am a great employee....i have been with this company for 10 years......i work hard....stay late...and am at the top of my game. Even she can't deny that. I am also a union employee. I wanted to get some input from un-biast people on what I should do? A lawyer told me that this was a hostile work place?

I have a short 100 page book. I want to extend it too a novel and I have other partially written books. I joined a writers group and all they seemed to care about was grammer,punctuation and the absolutely strictest sense of form but I feel that style is what matters. To me the strict form can be worked on later and to judge a book by grammer, and spelling is like judging a football player by the way he is dressed. I can always get help with grammer and spelling but I feel that the skill is in the style and I want to know if I have any skill.

my grandpa offered to buy me what ever laptop i want as a graduation gift. i really want a mac book but not sure if ill get confussed using it because the only computers i've ever used are pcs. my dad always helps me with computer issues and im moving away in sept. so he wont be able to. so... would it be too difficult for a teenage girl who doesn't know much about computers to switch from a pc to a mac? thanks!

I'm normal leasure gym climber (can climb with some pain 5.11b in the gym). I'm still on my first harness I bought when I started climbing 4 years ago ....

I'm thinking to get new harness only for gym climbing and I really don't think I need to spend $80 on Black Diamond super awesome harness simpy because I won't be sitting on the wall for 4 hours, I really want to use it in the gym only.

Maybe I don't get it, but why this harness would not do better job in the gym than any other pro harness? This is really simple comfortable easy to pack harness, what else do you need in the gym? When I look in the gym, everybody has expensive harness, almost nobody uses something simple like this.

Yeah I bet that headline really got your attention. But anyway to get to the point...I think organized religion defeats its own purpose. To advocate peace and love yet fight others who dont believe the same as you makes you a hippocrite. Not just Muslims, but also every religion in general. I believe that there is something bigger than us out there. Something that guides us and gives us hope. I just dont believe in a God that punishes you for not eating the flesh and blood of Jesus, for not praying seven times a day, not getting baptized, eating meat, or other silly rules around the world's most popular religions. I believe in an all forgiving god who gives good people a second chance,...or a third,... or a fourth. I think even the most unforgiving person can be forgiven, if they so want.
