Or will the Dems/Libs continue to kow tow to the ultra left element and continue to disenfranchise this substantial voting bloc?

Dr Luv, your point is well taken. Thanks for the correction. Instead of "disenfranchise" I should have said continue to "write off" this substantial voting bloc.

As for why the Dems/Libs should pursue this bloc. They can not win the Presidency without the South. John Edwards is the only one to acknowledge this fact but it back fired on him when he used the "bumper sticker/pick up truck" metaphor.

You comments please?

That is because people from the south still have morals and values to get that certain target area there to vote you have to write off then gays, abortions, and all the other immoral things that the world has presumed to be okay. Let the communist liberals go after who they want they will never get my vote.

Last time I checked...southern white hunters are historically Republican? Why should democrats campaign or come to them...they choose who they want to vote for....how is it disenfranchisement?

Sounds like more of the same to me. I suppose a token or two might not hurt. Maybe they could shine shoes.

Heh. No.

You have to understand that diversity is valuing /other/ cultures, and /other/ peoples - not your own.

Unlike the other side, all are welcome in the Democratic party. Come over from the dark side. Come into the light. All are welcome.
