ok the basis to this question is that more people have died over something that cant be proven, than ANYTHING ELSE EVER, thats the basis to almost every athiests argument apart from the usual creation and evoltion theorys , but im fawarding this question to see other people views on this theory " terorism " ok this is usualy in or by eastern religions , i may be being very steriotypical here but its in statisics . Ok apart from that its the conflict between social laws and religios laws which mostly ocurs in western civilisation , which the sheeps think there " book " im not going to determain any paricular riligious book here, they think they will be taken to an after life for killing themselves, so getting rid of religion could/would decrease the amount of terrorism and eastern wars along with a communial belief of reality which is we will all end up as dust, so in my opinion getting rid of religion would decrease terorsim and war and the belief in something that does not exist.

Im curious on this, in astronomy class I have. Im confused about it.

It requires more heat to fuse helium than to fuse hydrogen, yet when a star has depleted its supply hydrogen it cools down! How does the star warm up again enough to fuse helium in its core?

Europe was unimportant til the 1400’s 'cause it then discovered some advances like gunpowder, printing, & the mariner’s compass that Asian civilizations were making. The mariner’s compass allowed them to travel out of sight & reach other continents. Europeans began probing other continents & finding “natives.” They realized they didn’t have the advances that Europe had & wanted to offer this to them. The price of this was colonization. Europe colonized many of these continents making them foreign to those who lived there.

This happened before H. G. Wells wrote this book in 1898. How does the title of the book, The War of the Worlds relate to Europe’s colonization of other continents? Do you think Wells had Europe’s colonizing other continents in mind when writing this book? Do you think there is any coincidence that the war of the worlds fell upon the British (Europeans) in the book?

Does anyone ever feel like they've fallen out of love? I know everyone has problems, but this is the first time in 4 years I have felt like I just don't want to see my husband, talk to him or spend any time alone with him. We've had our problems and I am a very passionate person, he isn't. Doesn't expect anything and doesn't really like responsibility. He tells me he loves me everyday, but is never romantic and never has meaningful conversations with me. Am I just bored? I'm scared that I am falling out of love with him.

im usually the type of person who is always on top of their work (schoolwork, papers, assignments,etc) and always operate with a productive flow but these past couple of months I have been experiencing the opposite of everything that I am, Ive waited last minute to hand in assignments, I read assigned texts and novels and feel like im just reading words and not grasping the themes like i normally do, ive become introverted, not vibrant and discussing things in class like i normally do, now i feel like im at a loss for words when asked to speak or called on - or even in my own thinking - Its almost like a disconnect - I cant explain this phase its terrible and i wouldnt wish it on anyone - the worst part is that im going thru it now during my last semester at college and hating this state of being - at times i feel like the productive me again but those moments are fleeting - this is so troublesome because i know what i am capable of and what it is like when i feel like "myself"-

I have never waited tables, bt my fiance does at a fine dining establishment. Tipping in America is 20% for servers and 30% for bartenders, MINIMUM. Why do so many people stiff still? I was shocked to hear it happens in fine dining! How can people have a server who is paid WAY under minimum wage hourly slave over them and then basically steal from them when they have money to buy $100 bottles of wine? If the service is bad that is one thing....but my fiance is very attentive, knowledgable, and polite when he serves. He brings out samples, offers recommendations, and is timely and kind and still has people who spend $400 on dinner tip him $40 after taking up his 8 top table for 3 hours where he might have had more generous guests sit. I get so angry. I understand why tipping is not generally enforced. I have had awful servers a few times, but the more likely situation is that of cheap guests. If you can't afford the 20% tip, DON'T DINE there.
