I have a B.S. in Telecommunications Systems Management, but I've decided to switch my career and pursue an associates degree in radiologist technology. But there is a 4 year college an 1 hour away that offers a Bachelor's of Science in Radiologic Sciences.

Just wanted to know to anyone who works as a Radiologists Technologist if there would be that big a difference in salary between having an associates or a bachelor's in that field. Some people say yes, some say very litte, and some say not that much.

I just don't want to pay a crap load of money at a 4 year college when i can go to a community college and make the same amount of $$$ with an associates instead of a bachelor's.

Hope anybody out there can help!

I really like this guy. Only thing is he is 10 years older then me. I'm 21. Well almost. Anyways. He's really cute. I know.... I know. We had some problems in 2001. With some of my old freinds. They were harrassing him and what not and he turned me in for it... not knowing where they lived. I guess. Damn people. Anyways we went almost 6 years not speaking. I would completely ignore him. And visa versa. It broke my heart heart cause I really thought he was something (still do) he always waved, smiled, and talked. But cause of some idiotic people that all stopped. But he was my wake up call. Shortly after that happened I stopped running with that crowd. And have never spoken to them since. So 6 years later. We see each other and do the occasional wave, and what not. Seen him in town one day and he just stared at me as he walked past me. Since then we have been waving, and smiling at one another. I currently live in southwest Michigan. Although it's a great place if you have a steady reliable job and a family, I have neither. I am 28 year old single female with a large dog. I work in the bar industry and travel down to New Orleans to work, since our economy sucks. The money is good in N.O, but not a place I'd like to live. I've been to Chicago, great city with lots to do and great public trans, but too cold in the winter, too expensive, and too conjested.
I'm looking for a place that I can get a job fairly easily. On the cheaper side of rent, but I do understand the prices reflect income. A place where it is easy to meet people and make friends since I will be moving and living alone. Safe, pet friendly, and hopefully some sports teams. I enjoy being outdoors and would prefer being near water. Also some kind of public transportation, or an area where I could walk or ride a bike. I don't mind heat and humidity, but I'd prefer no more snow.

I'm not trying to disrespect anyone's choice but I am curious why people advocate so adamently for people to not consume meat and or anything that comes from an animal.

If we were to go back to the earlier days...like the native americans for example wouldn't we see a group of people that respected mother nature and gave thanks to her for the hunt??

My roomie is a vegetarian so I have no problem with the Veg Heads :-)....just curious to the different reasons why some of you came to the conclusion that you did??

There are many inland areas in the world which are below sea level. Death Valley and the Salton Sea Basin in California are examples. Couldn't a siphoning system be designed which would allow these depressions to fill with sea water if melting polar ice leads to rising sea levels? I don't know if there would be enough available volume in these areas to make a real difference, but this is pretty simple technology and i would think that having new inland seas would be preferable to losing Manhattan, wouldn't it? Another example, the Afar Depression in Ethiopia is hundreds of miles long. If the entire East African Rift Valley can be connected to the Red Sea, it could create a sea almost as large as the Red Sea itself...that would have to help, wouldn't it?

Its a strange but pleasant tingling sensation at the top of my head, as if thousands of littIe fingers where giving me a scalp massage, I get it when someone is explaining something to me with lots of detail, or I'm seeing someone doing something meticulous. Hi i was wondering if anyone could tell me or could think that might be wrong with my computer. When i go to turn on the computer it goes straight to a windows things saying the program was interrupted and that its got a countdown time on it from where it says windows will start but my computer freezes when it hits zero. And i have a red light where the restart button is but the light turn on and off. And casuses my computer to act this way. when i first turn on the comp i usually here a beep and i tried putting in the boot disk and the boot thing doesn't come up and goes straight to windows but i had a look at the hard drive and now i still get the thing that says windows has been interupted due to power failer or unexpected restarts cause thats what the computer was doing before this problem my brother says the hard drive could have viruses as it makes a noise that sounds like a lawn mower or some sort. if anyone who can understand me can give me advice. thanx

Common sense and continuing education tells me that religion is nonsense. Despite this I happen to believe it's necessary and good for religion to exist. Without religion to fill certain emotional needs or to serve as their purpose in life, I believe a large number of the less intelligent or willfully ignorant people on the earth would self destruct and take out rational people with them. Anyway, this theory is a work in progress and I’d be happy to hear your opinions. What are your thoughts on this?

PS. When I say religion I can only speak of the ones I’ve investigated. These include Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and a few smaller ones.

I don't get this title? If they are Americans you might call them 'traitors'. In a war why are they called 'terrorists' if they are attacking soldiers? If they were 'terrorists' wouldn't they want to go to some other place and attack American civilians? They are definitely 'enemies' of America but 'terrorists' sounds a bit off. these guys could easily have targeted larger groups of Americans and succeeded in their attack. Why attack a military base? And where are these guys now?

I think using the term 'terrorists' give the US gov't the right to take away all their rights by zipping them off to Guantanamo.

I am looking for the name of a tv show that I watched when I was a youngin and I only remember bits and pieces of it. It is about a dad and his daughter and son somehow end up in the past with like dinosaurs I think, and they become friends with some creature, I know it isn't land of the lost I am pretty sure, because I remember the girl having dark hair and she wore glasses, I remember them living in a tree house, in the beiginning intro I remember them getting sucked in this vortex and they are in a station wagon, I am thinking it is a show in the 90's but I could be wrong. Someone please help me remember, it is bugging me.
