Well , there was this guy that asked me out twice and the second time he asked me out I said let me think about it , but this one girl pounced on him before I could answer him. And just a few days ago I started really liking him. My friend told me she would try to get us together, but I'm afraid my crush had lost feelings for me. Either I take a chance and risk humiliation or I just forget about him and move on. WHAT DO I DO?!

They actually have a cure for cancer and AIDS and all that stuff but the government and pharmaceutical companies are just cashing in on all the money that people donate to "research" for a while?

I mean why wouldn't they? Its not like they care about the common person.

I'm a 16 year old oco-lacto vegetarian, currently 5"10 and 150 pounds. I'm not particularly overweight, but I'm often tired after going up one flight of stairs or walking briskly for ten minutes. I'd like to firm up my lower body, increase the strenth of my upper body, and increase my general fitness. I've already resolved to take over my own grocery shopping, so I can control what I eat. Now I just need a fairly quick exercise routine that doesn't require a gym membership or a whole lot of time.

Little Johnny's chemistry teacher wanted to teach his class a lesson about the evils of liquor, so he set up an experiment that involved a glass of water, a glass of whiskey, and two worms.

"Now, class. Observe what happens to the two the worms," said the professor putting the first worm in the glass of water. The worm in the water moved about, twisting and seemingly unharmed.

He then dropped the second work in the whiskey glass. It writhed in pain for a moment, then quickly sank to the bottom and died. "Now kids, what lesson can we derive from this experiment?" he asked.

Little Johnny raised his hand and wisely responded, "Drink whiskey and you won't get worms!"

I mean,here I am,a miserable little Level One plebe and they got all these snooty social register M.C. types,strictly Uptown, and then I come along and bump somebody and they spill all that cheap champagne. I feel so bad about the way they took it (not well),I should go crawl off somewhere and bawl myself senseless with nobody there to care but my dog Critter. Or - I could buy them a Mass card. But would they take it the right way,a thoughful and inspired gesture like that?

I am studying the civil war and especially the assassination of Lincoln. A question is very much bothering me and it would be of great help to me if you answer.

Is there any evidence (and if there is, please state or link your resources) whether Booth actually killed Lincoln, or whether Booth he was forced to? If not Booth, then who else? John Parker, the faulty bodyguard? Or Crooks? What about Mary Tod Lincoln? Or Harry Clay Ford?

Either way, if I were presenting this in a court, what would some tricks be to convince a judge/jury that Booth is innocent?
