No, its just don't limit yourself to just those terms. Don't shut out potentially great relationships just because the person can't drive. If thats what you're looking for in a partner than those are your needs, though it is more of a material requirment.
You're young, enjoy it.

That's really up to your parents. When you're younger it's really hard to date someone whose older or younger than you because those years make a bigger difference when you're 14 than when you're say 20. I'm nineteen but i had a rule of two years younger or two years older at the most or at the least when i was around your age, in high school. but for you a twelve yr old is too immature and a 17 yr old is too old. it depends on your age, if you're 8th grade fourteen or high school fourteen makes a difference. i don't think there is anything wrong with you for wanting too date an older guy. but you have to be careful because a lot of older guys are only out for one thing.

At 14, I would think that you are kind of young and innocent and naive to really know what you are getting into. Getting what you want doesn't always bring with it what you need. Putting yourself in certain situations when you are not emotionally, physically ready can only make things bad. Wait a year or two and when you are older you can get all good types of guys...not just the ones that can drive.

No its is not wrong if you love someone its doesn't matter the age I am 13 turning 14 and I am dating and in love with a guy that is 16 he loves me and respects more then the guys my age do.

no not really i'm 14 to and one of my best friends goes out with a 16 year old and they make a cute couple. those people are just haters cause they want what you have. you would really be one if you had like 7 or8 boyfriends once a month that were 16 or 17..

I understand where you are coming from, because i too like older guys. You are young though and you need to be careful because guys at that age are far more mature than you. No disrespect or insult but they are in a different stage in their life. Just be careful and cautious, try to date guys your age first. And nobody should judge you for liking older guys

I guess at 14 you would want to date a guy a couple years older, but you should find a guy you like for him, not just for his car and driving.
Be careful of those boys.

In some ways, I'm 17 and I don't have a lisense, or a car! All my friends have one I don't need one!
That's not good to date guys that much older, they probably want something in return other then some gas money if you know what I mean!

Let's hope you're not, but you could easily become! Lots of 14 yr. old girls get pregnant in the back seat of a car! Better wait a few years to start dating older guys!

I wouldn't say it was wrong, but it depends on the maturity level of you both. 14 and 16/17 is a big age difference a lot of times in the level of maturity.
