We talk daily, and he already had an old police scanner that he found dumpster diving. Now he went and spent almost all of his savings on a new high-tech one.

He told me that all he does is listen to it and tries to beat the cops to the scene.

Should I be concerned about him, or is this just a hobby?

I've seen a few episodes of this show, and that the end the people always say stuff like "I feel like a whole new person" but I mean come one, you're still the same person, you just LOOK different and (obviously) a lot better. But they change every little thing about themselves. Shouldn't we all love ourselves despite our physical flaws?

I've been making ballon art for years, but I've never done it for a crowd and much less for a bunch of rowdy ten year olds. So I'm looking for suggestions about what kind of balloon sculptures I should make that don't take so long to put together. Nothing complex because I don't want to feel pressured by trying to do it fast and I don't want the kid to get bored while I'm doing it. So far I know I want to make simple 3 balloon flowers, 2 balloon hats, 1 balloon sword, 2 balloon bumblebees, 1 balloon teddy bears, maybe a 4 balloon frog hat, and a 1 balloon heart. So any suggestions as to what I should add to my list? Preferably stuff that I can make that won't require more than 3 balloons.

Oh, and for the professionals out there: What do you talk about with the kids while you make them their balloon sculpture? I don't want to just stand there making something without talking to them; that's akward. I want some interaction, but I don't know what to say to them. Any tips?

Am l missing out somewhere along the line. My missus has been on to me for a couple of yrs to buy a computre, l did, cost me around 900 quid, not that l'm complaining, its been great fun putting a few questions on here and seeing the reaction from all and sundry, have tried to download sum games and great but they only last for 1hr, rhew same for music- its all from the 90s onwards. what happened to 60s 70s and 80s. there must be more to this computer thing. I travel through Flushing, Queens, which has a great Asian population. Now and then I hear Koreans (I think) talking to each other using a word that sounds like our "N" word. It might be "nega" or "negger" or something like that. I think it's a legitimate Korean word and they're not trying to talk about anyone behind their back!

What is this word, how is it spelled, and what does it mean, please?

I went into a place that I had no right to go into. I took some things that I didn't pay for. Some others who saw me, said i am a criminal. I said "I only took those things because I wanted to make life better for my family." Am I really a criminal?

Darn right I am!!! Just like the Illegals in this country. You snuck in. Took things that you had no right to take, and then you say " I just want a better life for my family". LISTEN UP, that is all any of us want, a better life for our families. But you can't break the law, and expect honest hard working Americans to let that slide. Go back, and them reenter LEGALLY, we will welcome you with open arms.
