It's still a ways away, so you could say happy mothers day, and leave out the I love you part if you don't love her and just say something like I hope you have a great mothers day or something alterative to the L word.

Sounds like there are probably some underlying issues that are much more important than you uttering the words 'Happy Mother's Day.' If you don't feel it, I don't believe there is some unspoken requirement to lie about it.
You have a week to think about whether you want to work on a goal to develop a better relationship with her. Who knows - maybe you'll mean it one day.

if you dint love her try talking to her and finding out way u dint like her then at the end u might start to like her or at lest become friends.
There's an email going around that wants everyone to NOT buy gas on May 15. The last time it was done, gas prices dropped 30 cents the next day. Hey, it's worth a try! Tell all your family and friends. If enough people don't buy gas that day it could work. It did before

Emmm... is it mother's day?!
Oh feck! ... oh well, my mother's used to my not wishing her happy mother's day. Or happy birthday. Or happy new years (I only wish people happy new years to overload the mobile phone providers and to make them break down for the night)
And to think I actually adore my mother... now *that* is an example of a bad daughter!

You can still say "Happy Mother's Day" without actually loving your mother. I still tell my sister "Happy Birthday," even though I think she's a hypocritical *****. At the very least, she'll know that you still acknowledge her existence.

No, not at all. Because Mother's Day isn't until next Sunday. So you're safe, at least until then.

Not all mothers are good. If your mother is really that bad then you're not wrong. If, however, you're mad at her for something petty, like her grounding you or not allowing you to date a guy you really like, then yeah, you are horrible.
