yes if you did what you asked about and took things, from a place you did not belong at, you would be a criminal, just like all the illegals, in this country who are taking things they have no right to take,.....they are criminals,.....

i agree and disagree with you.
you probably will never know what it's like to go hungry and see your children dying of hunger and when people say that the US is where money grows on trees and your family will never go hungry, you go illegally to another country. other countries don't have a good government as others, where they can have a job and at least have a little place to stay.
they had no choice if they wanted to be brought up in a poor family and i think it's unfair because the united states of America was built by IMMIGRANTS!!!!!! the u.s. stole land from Mexico, and some of the native Americans land.
now I'm not saying that it's okay to cross the border illegally to give their family food and shelter, but if it is the only thing that they can do..............

unfortunately, what you did, could be considered to be a crime.
i can understand your situation. I felt on a similar way....there is no justice in the world and we must accept it.
i cannot say whether you are a criminal, because i do not know your personality and what you are ready to do...
if you think to keep stealing things in order to improve your family's life, then yes, you are the criminal...but if you described just a new moment for you, then even if you did the crime, you are not a real criminal. I hope you would find a way to earn. Maybe, you can make a small business for you and your family...
good luck

You are completely right. Entering our country without legal permission is against the law, and should be dealt with that way. Prosecute those who employ illegals, and deport those that commit crimes immediately.
The biggest problem with illegal immigration is that this crime is exponential. During the Reagan administration there was an amnesty deal that said, "Ok, we will give amnesty to a small number of illegals, after which we will put in place means to keep others from entering" This never occurred. And now 12 to 20 million have entered our country illegally.
If we give them Amnesty, expect 40 million in the next 20 years. And considering these people are already protesting for rights they never earned, their political power will give them what they want little by little.

dear ...... Mr. illegal immigrant ...to apply for anything!!! you immigration status should be even with the laws of the country you are in ....
remember that authority for good or evil comes from above and.... " even if we don't understand ".............
we all legals and illegals should obey the laws ...BUT
without restrains to give your opinion to which you are entitle to by the law....see ?....
is "hard" and difficult to disagree with laws and not be able to find the way out ....but when the years pass by you will see that is the right thing to do....
to all the illegals I say ....find the way to go to work legally !!!
good things don't come easy
do what you should

You are conflating objective morality with law.
On one hand you propose that stealing is wrong, that this is an absolute and not just a personal preference, and that this rule is not affected by situation.
On the other hand, you infer that not paying taxes is wrong, even though the the line between taxation and theft is not definable by any external or objective criteria.
Contradictions do not exist. Either stealing is wrong and it is perfectly justifiable for 'illegal aliens' to work under the table wherever they please; or situational ethics do exist, governments should be allowed to bend the rules a bit to pay for roads, the poor, national security, etc. and one is perfectly justified in doing whatever is necessary to make life better for one's family--regardless of one's place of birth.
Either way my friend, one of your premises is incorrect.

What is the law is about the same as what is crazy. It's what someone decides to say it is or isn't. It's an abstract not hard rock solid fact. In the least it costs all of us as efforts are made for ballance. Ponder that they were originally hear first along with Indians. Woody might tell you this land is your land, this land is mine... and as I was walking, I saw a sign there and that sign said private property, but on the other, didn't say nothing, and that's the side for you and me...

I agree. It has gotten so far out of hand now. I was reading an article in the paper that many US cities are wasting so much money training police officers on immigration practices, that it would be cheaper not to do it.
I can't believe what is happening to our country. All the immigrants from Europe must feel strange for how hard it was for them to get here.

The problem is with the liberals in this country. The laws of our land are only important when they are keeping God and morals out of goverment or when they are protecting the right to have an abortion. It's a sad state of affairs.

You make a very good point and I agree 100%. The problem with illegals is that they cry that we are being racist against them. It's ridiculous.
