G-d offered his word, Torah, to 72 nations and all of them turned it down for various reasons. We, Jews, blindly accepted the Torah from Moses’ hand. We accepted that God would lead us, show us the way, and protect us. We are a people of faith. In fact, faith becomes the defining factor. Why?-Because we chose God.

In the NT Christians believe that we were chosen. But we accepted G-d without knowing His rules, before He uttered His laws we cried out, "You are Lord our G-d father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." So, Christians were do you get your information that we are the Chosen ones, when in fact, we chose G-d, because we chose holiness.

The reason to why I say this is because I have noticed that alot of people use this racist idelogy against the Jews.

But literature enthusiasts slam me for saying that, allow me to explain my view...

- This is 2007, he wrote his works over 500 years ago, and I feel like i'm the only person who finds his texts predictable and grim. Admittedly, its the principle that counts, but the presentation of his ideas isn't entertainment. Maybe back when it was written, but not anymore! So why is it on the exam board????

- Going back to the curriculum, teachers/tutors consistently defend his work, even when students point ideas that are fairly plausable that suggest he never thought something through. One such example in King Lear - characters just deciding to leave the play? Anomolously? Shakespeare for all we know could have thought "oh who cares, can't think of any reason to keep him, so the fool can dissapear" yet people defend this is suggest 'their was a reason'..

-... which makes me wonder, how can these people believe he does no wrong?? No-bodys perfect, and he certainly wasn't.

well i know when i have reakky strong feelings for someone else, it makes it so hard to sleep with someone else untill my feelings have faded...eventhough i might not even be with the person i am feeling for. Does that stand true for everyone though? I mean does love make it hard or slightly-not entirley, but slightly- impossible to sleep with someone else?

It's for a mother's day present.
I'm not interested in a 3-ring binder in which I print out the recipes and put them in page protectors; my printer rarely works.

Some sort of nice, thick journal type thing might be nice, if I can't find an actual blank recipe book.

Anyway, all suggestions welcome!

In Matthew 10:15, Matthew 11:23,24 and Luke 10:12, Jesus talks about the standing of those men in the final judgment being more "tolerable" than for those who don't listen to him or his disciples. The implication seems to be that they have the possibility of everlasting life.

On the other hand, at Romans 9:29, 2 Peter 2:6, Jude 7 (most specifically speaking of the everlasting fire) and Revelation 11:8, the fate of those destroyed originally at Sodom are equated with the second death. It's as if Paul, Peter and John took the opposite stand from Jesus.

Looking back through the history of some religions, one can find attempts to take a stand one way or the other as to whether those killed by God at Sodom and Gomorrah would be resurrected. The problem becomes, they are up, then down, then up again, over and over again. Do you know what your church says? Are you SURE?

I am led to believe that itwas CIA working on behalf of JFK, as she knew a little too much! No way did she commit suicide, she was reinstated on 'somethings gotta give'. So she had a movie in the pipeline. Recordings of her prior to her death, hears her speak that life is great and that she wants to settledown with children and do better movies where she isn't a 'dumb blonde'.

If it was sucide, then why would the ambulance that took her to the hospital, be told to turn around and put her back? Why was her 'maid' washing her bed sheets when the cops turned up? Why was there NO trace of drugs in her system, when they stated on the death certificate that her death was caused by barbiturates?

COME ON! You expect her fans to believe this tripe?!

my dad and my mom bothhave just found i talk to strangers online and that say rude stuff about my mom. well its all true wat i say but still. my dad dosnt kno half the **** that goes on at my moms house so thats why hes getting so mad. the only reason i turn to the internet for help or to talk to someone i b/c no one really ever talks to me about my problems at my moms house or anything. maybe if my da knew that he wouldnt be so mad rite now. well hes gonna kno sooner cause he said hes gonna read evrywhere i have been on the internet but o well. wat can i do about this im so upset rite now. and i guess im not gonna be on here for a long time. so ya bye everyone.
